NMEA 2000 Backbone Cable

Ancor NMEA 2000 Drop Cables

Ancor’s NMEA 2000 Approved Drop Cables offer a connection between an NMEA 2000 device and the backbone Tee connector.

The black couplers connect to the corresponding Ancor Tees, creating a simplified, colour-coded network installation.

The drop cables are smaller in diameter and more flexible than backbone cables for easy connection to NMEA 2000 devices.

Both Ancor drop and backbone cables are DeviceNet standard cables, NMEA Micro size, rated to carry up to 3 Amps of power supply current.

Drop cables vary between 0.5 meters (1.6′) and 5.0 meters (16′) in length.
